Task 6: analysing students work

This task allowed me to view former A level student's work. This is a good way to look at the good and bad aspects of stranger's work so i know what to add and what not to add in my overall piece. This task enabled me to develop my understanding of genre code and conventions as i could see a lot of conventions that are linked with different genres. One convention which was evident consistetly through the Circa Waves song was that of the cross cutting between acting and performance. The 2 videos were not the best vidoes which gave me the chance to see how they could have improved and got a better mark. This type of knowledge will be useful in the future as i will know how to make our film better.
